Hell Ya I Love This Game! Hey just a small suggestion I say it in my video but you should make a game but just like this, but with YouTube and instead of punching Twitter comments you are punching YouTube videos with a demonetization sticker! I think you can get a lot of YouTubers to play this easy.
The tutorial part where I had to look at the sky while "ascending" is not exactly comfortable to watch. I felt nauseous for a moment. It would've been perfect if "I" just stayed on the ground.
Also, there should be a HUD display when some tweets reach the inner circle, like how your screen flashes red on the rim if you take damage in an fps game. It's tiresome to constantly monitor everything at once without something telling you where the tweets are located. Maybe a minimap would be nice, since "I" don't want to run around like a buffoon and end up getting dizzy. For me, I think adding a third person mode as an option would help a lot, since I don't get nausea from other third person games that I play.
And I think this game has a lot of potential. The usual time trials, online death matches, puzzle levels and so on would add a lot more variations to your game. As you may have guessed, I don't exactly like staring at a blank void all day. That also made me feel a bit ill.
I know this is a lot of work that I'm asking for you, but I think it would be cool if you added some of these features that I've mentioned. Wish you the best of luck.
“Why don't you leave them a comment to let them know what you think.”
No, leaving them an angry comment is exactly what they want. All these people want is a reaction out of you so leaving a comment (let alone making a whole game) is just fueling them because they know they’re getting on your nerves.
You omitted the "With your fists." part, which is kind of essential to the whole message, since it literally expresses the opposite of what you're reading into it: Talking to those people is pointless, the only correct response is to fight back.
Now, this game is both cathartic and metaphorical, so "fighting back" means as much as: Take away their platform, enforce Terms of Services and No Harassment policies, do not tolerate a climate of bigotry, etc.
"Don't feed the trolls" has long proven to be no winning strategy: Giving both space and convenience to toxic and sociopathic people won't make them go away. There is no point in debating them, but leaving their vile rhetoric and lies unquestioned will only give them and like-minded bystanders the both reassuring and wrong impression, that they are in the majority and that their behavior is socially acceptable.
If your message with this game is to report the tweet and move on with your day, then I agree.
However, a lot of the tweets in this game weren’t breaking any terms of service. I don’t see why someone saying “so much for the tolerant left” should be reported and deplatformed (even if it is a dead meme).
not many of the tweets were toxic, this just seems racist against german people. German is a language, don't hate them because they USED to be Nazis. They were forced to be Nazis by Hitler. anyway, you should try adding some actually toxic tweets, like transphobia accusational tweets. maybe a bit of manspreading garbage. possibly some white privilege crap from white girls.
Remember there are more than LGBTQ people playing this game.
Many of the tweets in this game are toned down; also for legal reasons. They are supposed to give you an idea, not be actually explicit. The point of this game is to fight hate speech – not spread it.
I'm German. Nothing in this game is anti-German.
Germans weren't simply "forced to be Nazis by Hitler." Hitler rose to power because he enjoyed wide, popular support by a nation that was blinded by nationalism, racism and antisemitism.
I'm sensing some "anti-sjw" sentiments; that's neither the point of this game nor something I would generally find worthy of support.
Yes. And I hope they dislike bigotry, racism, rightwing-extremism and neo-nazism just as much as any LGBTQ member would.
On Linux build, with an intel HD3000 graphic card (OpenGL 3.3 compatible) and mesa 17.4.0 driver installed (Lubuntu 16.04, kernel 4.4.0), when I choose fullscreen option in the Unity3D first options window, that pops out on program launching, if I set a resolution lower than the screen max one's (1366x768) then, at game beginnig, the main menù window it's positioned size-reduced and wrong scaled on the bottom-left of the screen, and also mouse becomes not interactive with menù elements (even if it's visible).

Hi, there! A couple of things:
PREACH BROTHA
Love the concept of this game and it's fitting for the current climate (at least within the US). Can't wait to see more stuff you put out.
